SARA ESCOBEDO | PORTFOLIO

I graduated from California Baptist University (Riverside, CA) in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations and a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications.

 

I first started getting into social media/marketing when I took a class on social media strategies my sophomore year in college.  I wanted to start getting experience as fast as I could so I taught myself Adobe Photoshop and decided to message a few lesser-known bands that on Instagram to see if they needed social media help. Taking that initiative lead me to landing an internship with Hopeless Records my senior year.

 

Since the internship I have taught myself Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom and InDesign. I have a huge passion for all things music; I am very familiar with a wide variety of genres and artists and it shows in my work. Most of my experience is working in the music industry or doing independent work for bands, but I am more than open to working in other fields and areas.
